NNFD197
I just purchased my first pathfinder last week. One of my Lenco electric trim tabs does nothing when button is pressed, no sound as well. What are my basic steps to figure this out, is there a fuse somewhere? I can pitch a shiner under the mangroves, but when it comes to any issues on a boat I’m lost. Jokes are welcomed but please include some helpful comments. Thanks
jim33042
What kind of switch do you have? If it’s an older boat the rocker switch may be bad and you just need to replace it. See if you can add some pics, it will help out others on a reply.
DonV
I had Lencos on my Pathfinder, had to replace actuators more than I thought I should have to. I reversed the rocker switch leads, left and right and the switch would still work the good actuator and not the bad one. Good news it's an easy replacement project. Oh yeah, if you find a deal on the actuators buy two, one for spare in the garage. Thank me later.
NNFD197
Its a 2013 2200. I'll take pics after work tomorrow. I will try reversing the rocker switch leads and repost. And I will take the Actuator advise as well, thank you both.
plainsman5
a lot of times it's a possible corrosion issue as well. I would peel back some of the wiring until you get to shiny copper and test it on a 12v battery before removing the actuator
