SW Skif Posted September 12, 2019 Report Posted September 12, 2019 Guys, This is for a ‘99 2200v. What are the coolers typically used for the front console and leaning post? ~Frog
Hutch03 Posted September 12, 2019 Report Posted September 12, 2019 Frog foot. Go to the mbg online store for information about Engle coolers for pf boats. Many folks use other brands. A seat cushion really helps. My yeti 65 fits well under leaning post and you can probably measure and go bigger. Bh
DonV Posted September 12, 2019 Report Posted September 12, 2019 Hey Frog, I used a 60 qt Icey-tek for the front on mine. The "cube" shape fits perfect. I think Engle makes one with pretty much the same dimensions. and for the rear a 65 qt Rtic. Front for drinks, beer, etc., rear for fish.
TP13 Posted September 13, 2019 Report Posted September 13, 2019 45 pelican for front seat igloo marine 72qt I believe. I use that for fish, and the pelican for drinks and food.
SW Skif Posted September 15, 2019 Author Report Posted September 15, 2019 Perfect guys! I’ll check this out. Thanks again. More questions coming under separate posts. FF.
Wanaflatsfish Posted September 15, 2019 Report Posted September 15, 2019 105 yetti in front of the console will carry everything you need....also is the right height as a seat in front of the cooler. i had one..worked perfectly...under the console seat is always a PIA...get one you are going to us with easy access, but, seems like you are always fiddling with it... engle, RTIC, etc. are all very good. dc
fin-addict Posted September 15, 2019 Report Posted September 15, 2019 The built in cooler in front of console for bait well. Cooler under leaning post for drinks, food
nhinshoreangler Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 Yeti 45 with cushion for the front . Yeti 65 or 75 for under the leaning post.
SW Skif Posted September 18, 2019 Author Report Posted September 18, 2019 Thanks guys I does anyone use the less expensive Igloos or Colemans?
DonV Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 I do not!! I'm over the Igloos. However that being said for a one day only trip they are OK, but no better than OK. If you are going to be using your cooler for more than a single day bite the bullet and go with an Rtic, Engle, etc. Get on the Rtic Instagram page, they have great deals all the time. I got my 65 qt at 50% off!
