Long time, no post, Maverick guls'n'buoys!!!!!!  😉  I hope everyone's doin' well and that your summer, your fishin', and your vacations have all been FAB-U-LOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  😀  Our summer was knockdown-dragout busy, which is GRRRREAT for bidness, as well as, oh-so-hard on the nerves,...but we wouldn't have it any other way.  😅 

Before I get too far, I want to thank you, our Maverick/Hewes/Pathfinder/Cobia family, for bein' such a faithful part of our PowerTech! family!!!! 😍 You have been so welcoming and so wonderful over the past 15+ years that I have been a part of your forum and it never ceases to thrill and delight me to hear from you folks.  🤗 Truly. 😌  I, and we, look forward to many more years together!!!!

That said, I do apologize that I've been runnin' in too many directions to spend time with you all, but I did want to take a minute to invite you, personally, to take part in our, now, quarterly prop giveaway!!!!

Marcus, IBEX usually is not open to the general public is it ? A laser scanalyzer sounds like a must have tool for any high performance prop shop to blueprint and or to reproduce a kick but prop that they lab finished may make my no two props are exactly the same theory obsolete . Would be cool if your lab finished , blueprinted kick but custom cut prop is introduced to a non liquid piece of material and you say you need to have another one built 😎 COOL !    Joe R

Actually, Joe, this is a device Steve and I have wanted for many, many years.  Even though we have five Hale MRIs, several Blade Runners, and even a couple o' Runquist manual gauges, they're all like so many measuring devices in our industry, they lack the precision and, more importantly, the consistency and repeatability that we ab-so-lute-ly HAVE to have in the manufacturing business. 

Over the years, we've paid companies to design and build such a device, but they were unable, and in some cases, unwilling, to consumate the deal.  The good news is we found one company who was willing to work with us in designing and building exactly what we wanted. Granted, it seems to have taken FOREVER, but we finally have our dream machine, an automated, laser-based prop analyzer. Anyway, we'll be "introing" it at IBEX, and although, yes, technically, it will be for sale to any shop, or manufacturer, who would like one, in truth, we built it for our own use, so selling them really isn't our focus.  To have multiple machines that read the same at every station and at every facility by simply pushing a button is a game changer for us.  We're reeeeeally JAZZED!!!!!!!😁😁😁😁

I will wish you all, as Marko from Trapoja in the movie, Taken, said, "Goo-lock."   😉

If a prop shop purchases your scanning equipment, will that give them access to your design data? ie pitches, rakes, thickness, etc. so they can duplicate the original as built/ machined condition?
