Limitless
I just got a new Power Drive with spot lock etc. for my 16' Redfisher and I'm working on the install to be ready for the OT. I'm not crazy about the required over hang but with the quick release it wont be bad all the time. If anyone has pics they could share of positioning on a small skiff - Hewes, Mav, etc. I'd really appreciate it. I dont think I'm going to be able to get nuts far enough up under the bow deck to secure that way, so if anyone has ideas on that I'd appreciate that too. I am doing a search for stainless expanding anchors for the install but would like thoughts on that. As usual many thanks for help from the MBG family. triplec
I drilled and tapped the glassed in aluminum plate on my master angler where I could and used stainless togglers where I couldn't and used them on couple other installs with no issues. They work very well. https://www.fastenal.com/products/details/50845
Limitless
Thanks Triplec, I found the Togglers at West Marine and I'm going to use them. Still try to figure out the size of the glassed in plate.
Limitless
Never mind. After a wild dash to West to get the last 2 togglers, all 4 holes hit the glassed in plate- yay! Now I just have to figure out how to get a screw unto it. Welcome any ideas besides drilling a hole the the screw will tap out for a tight fit.
