Happy Lappy
Does anybody flounder gig off their flats boat? My buddy has a tricked out Carolina Skiff, and we have a ton of fun when we go. I'm not looking to do anything crazy with the boat just something simple install and remove. Would love to see what you guys got.
SouthernWake
sea striker makes clamp on lights that work well. You could make some type of removable frame and clamp them on to it.
MuddyBottomBluz
Check out the bully netting set ups on the web, same idea. I get all my flounder while bully netting for lobster.
rckeat
I made an L-shaped frame that holds a 48" LED light bar that I lash to my front popup cleat. I was able to rig it to allow me to use my trolling motor and the light at the same time. This link will give you an idea of what I am talking about. on second thought, maybe it is only 36" instead of 48". https://www.fishinglightsetc.com/products/flounder-lights/flounderpro-3000/
bigtee
The swamp eye submersibles from outrigger outdoors work really well. They sell a removable boat adapter that clamps on to skiffs pretty easy. Here's their link to flounder gigging lights
