Like Clockwork

I'll put some more life in here.

With the boat be finished up and not being able to venture far from home due to a pregnant wife I snuck out to a quick walk in creek.

I arrived on low tide and picked at a few fish laying up in the isolated pocket on a bend but none wanted to eat. I knew that as soon as the tide rose just over the oyster bar there would be a flush of newly freed fish. Well like clockwork the tide came up and all of a sudden there was fish after fish coming by me. This was a stretch of creek about 5 yards wide and I would just pick them up watching the pushes coming down to me.
