AntonRx
Hey guys. I have an existing NMEA backbone for my Suzuki motor/fuel level/gauge. I added another “t” connected to the line and plugged in my garmin 942xs but it’s not turning on? What’s weird is when I push and hold the power button on the gps, it makes the ignition chime (like when you first turn the key). What am I missing here? AntonRx
Fixed chime issue. Still not turning on though. Anything I’m not thinking of?
DonV
You put on the resistor(s) back on each end of the backbone?
FINCHASER
What DonV said... AKA terminators. How do you know its not turning on?? Sometimes you have to go into the unit settings to select the source when you have more than 1 so worth checking
