Houston Maverick
There is a switch, like a button with a clear air hose attached on my poling platform. What is that for? I just bought a 1990 Maverick and am getting her back on the water. The hose is cut once it reaches under the floor.

lil Bingo
I have seen momentary switches mounted on poling towers to turn on/off trolling motors on the stern for chasing tarpon ect...
polliwog
Bingo is right, I BGT a Hewes light tackle with 2 trolling motors on the stern which turn on and of by the air switch when the guy fishing was sighting from the platform. They were worthless for me and I took the stern motors off and put one on the bow. Today you can control the motors from anywhere on the boat. Times change.
