What’s my 2200V worth?

Curious what y’all think my boat is worth. I’m considering selling it. I also kind of want to keep it and fix up. Don’t know if I want to sell with the motor, or with out. So I would like to know what the hull is worth alone. The engine is a 2016 Yamaha 150 with 30 hours. The boat is a 2002 2200V and is in fair condition as it sits now. I have the time to put into to restore I just don’t know if I should, or I could sell it as is and someone else can do it the way they want to. IMO its a project boat, but it’s also water ready at the same time with a pretty much new engine.

Just curious what y’all think it’s worth Hull only and as a unit.

Thanks!

You do not mention much about what your boat needs to be considered project boat. Older pathfinders with repower seem to be in the upper teen’s. Depending on how much work you hull needs would affect price. Having the newer four stroke would be a plus for sure. If you separate the boat from the four stroke I think it might hurt you feelings on the offers you get, especially  if it needs work.

Are you sure it’s a 2002. Suggest you check the VIN.From looking at the photos it appears to be a 2001 or earlier. There is no front hatch, anchor locker, recessed cleats and the gunnels are narrow. The deck drains are also located as in the earlier model years. Brother had an 02 and looked like my 03. That being said my guess buyers would price it as a 01 even if it is a early 02. JMO. Glws.

note, from looking at the photos it really does not look like a project boat. Yes updating is needed. Hard to price it out without seeing more and detailed photos of everything.

in order to get a better estimate throw some more details out there
what systems are operational or not

what systems have been replaced/updated

non factory accessories

etc...

def a cool platform to do a project on.  Wonder how much life is left in the gas tank

Ok big update here with lots of pics. I also sand corrected the hull is an 2001.  I guess I shouldn’t have said project boat. In my opinion it could go either way. The boat has a few dings on the hull that I am going to get my fiberglass guy to take care of. There a number of spider cracks as well that i took a few pictures of. Garmin GPS works. Stereo works. One Yamaha display is out. Tabs work. Bilge works. Needs live well pump. Little dings here and there, but not in horrible shape. Hope this is enough info for y’all. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it!

I rebuilt my ‘99 2200v. Bought mine essentially bare (no engine/trailer).   Wired, pumps, steering, trim tabs, motor, trailer.  Totally worth it. Many members on this  site are very helpful and will give excellent advice.  I think its a fantastic boat. My previous boat was a 16’ Dolphin.  Keep yours and fix it!

I would go low teens w/o engine, mid with engine, just a guess. IMHO if you like the boat I would invest the time and money to fix her up. Would not consider it a project boat at all. Just some updating and some cosmetic glass work.

Dittio, my 2001 has been a "project" boat for 18 years :)

Latest was a front hatch upgrade, would love to do more but only some much time in a day...

Cadd, I am thinking of upgrading my hatches too. I assume that is 1” starboard that you used? They look great.

I used 3/4" when I did mine, easy to do.  Just remove the upholstery and use the existing board as a template and cut with a router.  The Seafoam color matches the Oyster White gel-coat pretty well.  You can get it with a non-skid surface or top it with SeaDek.

imsnookyrd- When my vinyl wears out or I get bored with my current , I’ll be doing exactly this....thanks for sharing

Any thoughts about trying to make it flush with the casting deck?
