FinFisher
I am just curious as to what hole everyone’s 250 sho is mounted on, on there jackplate mine came mounted on the 2nd from top hole. I’ve talked to a couple other owners that there’s is mounted on the very first one
Sunstone
Mine is mounted on the top hole and likes the 2 inch mark for running.
FinFisher
This is how mine came and when I run my Jp of course the rpm will go up but speed goes down just curious if I should move it all the way down
Sunstone
I don't think 1 hole top or second would make any difference that the JP couldn't make up for. Unless you need it all the way down for best performance then maybe.
FinFisher
That’s what I’m trying to figure out right now with current position I have to run the jack plate all the way down to achieve the best overall performance
Robert3
the best performance for mine ism the JP all the down, little engine trim..
smilemaker
Just a thought but it seems that a little deeper would be better than a little high. It's not often you run a bigger boat with high trim for very long. A little low will give better bite in rough seas. A more likely scenario than running shallow. The sweet spot for everyday will be in between
Bamaskeet
A jackplate gives you plenty of “up” but your limited to how much down. I suggest you move the motor.
BradM
Down = more trim angle = more leverage to lift the bow. Send it!
