TerryS
It’s become evident while social distancing fishing by myself. I need to add a couple gunnel mount rod holders , it would be awesome if I could replace the cupholders . what are my options?
2200TRS
I added two on the gunnels and another two in the front of my 2200 trs. I used the Pathfinder logo rod holders from a local dealer. This is the best photo I have right now.

HoneyB
I have Added straight 0 degree cup mate hod holders at the aft end of the storage boxes in the bow. I also added two gemlux rod holders on the bow. These are the ones that have no screws topside.
TerryS
Thank you .what degree rod holder 15 or 30 did you use for ones in the covering board . I like that spot for mine
HoneyB
I think mine were 15 degree. Just enough to throw the rod tip outboard.
flfisher78
I just bought two pathfinder branded rod holders my self, but yet to install them. I had to order the backing plates from Gemlux. I still need the stainless steel bolts to mount them. Anyone know what size I should get?
HoneyB
I would guess a 1/4 bolt by a couple of inches would do fine.

Let me know how the backing plates work out, more specifically if you are able through-bolt them. The mounting holes on the “Pathfinder” rod holders on my 2500 are too close to the rod tube to get a nut on the bolt.
flfisher78
Rod holders are installed and I was able to get all three nuts on and the backing plate
