localangler
Just launched the boat and noticed the way everything was sitting while waiting for my wife. I thought it made a good pic The fog rolled in about an hour after we left the dock. It was cool watching it come in off the ocean. I had to slow to an idle to be safe. Then I just decided to work a new stretch of bank until visibility improved. All in all not bad considering it was Dec 30th and I was fishing in shorts in Charleston. Fished the 31st too, both days with my wife and daughter, pure enjoyment even though we only picked at the fish. It will be another moment that my daughter won't forget. She got to pick any lure she wanted as long as it didn't have treble hooks.

16bayfisher
Nice! I went out the day after Christmas with a cousin in town from Arizona. The fog was so thick it was scary. We went all the way out to the Jetties and p***ed right by Ft. Sumter and couldn't even see it!
localangler
That day was a little nerve racking, my daughter was definitely nervous. Fortunately the only other guys we saw in the fog were like us, idling towards the bank to fish and making minimum forward progress so we could all react to anything. We fished half a day on the 31st and watched the fog stay just offshore of the beach.
