SouthernWake Posted June 8, 2020 Report Posted June 8, 2020 I fished the IFA event in Georgetown SC this past weekend and had a good time as always. Fishing was great and we had a lot of numbers to the boat. Only at a tournament do you complain about fish being too big as most everything we caught was over slot. We did get 2 mid slot fish to bring into the scale but the 22.5" fish we had on practice day eluded us when it counted. It's is always nice to get out to learn new water as it keeps you sharp and out of your regular routine. Best fishing for us was on the outgoing tide using (no surprise) popping corks. Now time to relax after putting almost 80 miles on the little boat in 2 days. 1 Quote
