We have talked about this boat in the Hewes section a couple times. However I don't think it would be an "89", Maverick Boat Company (MBC) took over Hewes in "89". What are the last two numbers of the serial number? Do a search in the Hewes section and see if you can find the discussion. Also in the vintage section there is a Hewes Tarpon, but that was a dual console. Both the Tarpon and the Sailfisher have two additional lap strakes than the Redfisher, Bonefisher flats boats.
