SCtiger2019
I was cleaning my boat the other day and noticed this spot on the bottom of my hull which got me worried. I posted in on a facebook group and got mixed returns. Some said simple delamination, but others were saying this could be a stringer issue. Any thoughts? It has also come to my attention that delamination on the older models in not that uncommon and Pathfinder is aware of this issue. Some say they offer some type of discounted repair on these models. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks for the help! Moderator
And to answer your questions, No. The boat is 16 years old. There are too many ways to damage a hull to warranty them forever. That looks like impact damage to me, man.
Lap it Up
Definitely looks like stringer delamination. I would have a very seasoned glass guy take a look. I have seen several others with the same issue over the years. Maybe someone will chime in.
