Crazy Trailer jack ?

I've always put the wheel toward the rear as well but had a dealer tell me that he's seen those jacks come loose and if the front hits the pavement vs the wheel, it can cause a bunch of damage. I just cannot see that happening as the wheel is the heavier side of the jack. Just wondered if anyone else had considered that or had experienced any issues.

Have not heard of this happening, but, might not be a bad idea to just bungee it up...takes a second to wrap it.
