Tim Baily
I have a2021 Cobia 240 dc. The boat has two fish boxes with one switch thay goes to the macerator pump. The starboard tank won’t drain. When the toggle switch is moved up the left box drains. When the toggle switch is moved down the same pump comes on at a high rpm but doesn’t drain the tank. I was told by the dealer that there is two pumps one for the left box and one for the right. Why does the same pump come on with the toggle up or down and why won’t one box drain. Any ideas? thanks
slyshon
Sounds as if the pumps are not wired correctly, 1 position on the switch works 1 pump and the same with 2, sounds as if they wired both switch legs to the same pump. You have 2 pumps, 1 for each fish box. Skip
Tim Baily
Both fish boxes have been working so the wiring should be correct. I guess the switch then is the problem. The boat is stored a ways away do you have any idea what switch to use to replace it? thanks
slyshon
The Switch is a Carling Technologies 6 prong 15A/125VAC on/off/on. Skip
