Lvnspeed
On the 87 bonefisher I am redoing there is what I would call a spray rail. Someone has painted it with bottom paint. Any ideas to remove the paint with out sanding it ( sanding it makes a mess out of the rubber)? Do they make replacement ones? Or do i need them at all? Lap it Up
I had a 1989 bonefisher II that had those same spray rails. They helped a lot. try acetone or mineral spirits and a lot of elbow grease
MuddyBottomBluz
I had the same issue on my boat, when I took them off it looked like my boat was in a war zone it had so many holes in the hull from the spray rail. Then it became obvious where all the water in my bilge was coming from. Patched it all up and went with this; https://www.integritymarinecorp.com/smart-rails Yes they are pricey but no holes in the hull and they worked great! You cannot run that boat without them, it will be a wet ride every time.
