I just recently purchased a Cobia 350. And the purchase price was a charge for the Mavrick Boats company water testing my boat before it was delivered. Although when it was delivered and put in the water within 15 minutes the bilge pump started going off and the bilge was filling up with water. Come to find out a bunch of hose clamps were never tightened. Then after running the boat and checking the bilge again there was a sheen of red hydraulic oil ..The hydraulic trim tabs were leaking. Then to top it off the air conditioner only runs for about 30 minutes before it cuts off and does not pump any water. I have called the Mavrick Boats company numerous times and I have never got a response. I did get a hold of a gentleman named Steve and he told me to call my dealer. The only person I know there that was responsive was Charlie and he no longer can talk to you about a Cobia. I had them build an 18 foot HXP Mavrick for me two years ago and the service was totally different. Not very happy with the new company. I wish somebody would respond and help me out. Not what I expected from buying a brand new boat.
