greenbone
Went out 110’ yesterday. Caught 2 legal red snappers. 2 weeks ago you could limit out in 95’. I saw surface temp at 90 degrees.
Bamaskeet
The FWC didn’t due us any favors with the late start of the season this year. There were plenty of red snapper within 15 miles in early June. By mid June, the water warmed up to 85° and these fish moved off to 30 miles. I’m catching some nice snapper 35 miles offshore, but that’s a long ride in a 2500 dodging summer thunderstorms.
