Jacobparris
Hey guys! Heading to Islamorada next weekend and dragging down the 2200. Wanaflatsfish
Head out of Snake Creek or Tavenier Creek and just head out to the reef....you'll see the boats on the reefs.... Bring a big bucket of oats in menhaden oil and at least 6-10 boxes of chum....and chum chum chum once you find them on the fish finder.... Most people begin at about 50-70 feet and if they don't show up...move out deeper.... Just remember, never approach another tailing boat from the rear...they have a chum slick out... Good luck...have fun... dc
Moderator
Where are you staying ? It has been very rough on the reef the past 2 weeks.. You can have plenty of fun on the backside of the Island.. Look up what you need to go into the Everglades National Park. An online course and a Park Pass, with a fee.
