Win55
I recently repowered my 1806V with a 2021 Yamaha F90. I love the engine but I am having a difficult time getting a prop to hook up properly. I am currently running a PowerTech PTR 15 4 Blade with extra cup. My max RPM is 5200 and that is trimming it up very high. It looks like a bass boat racing down the lake with the rooster tail behind my boat. Without the cup the boat slips when turning, cavitates easily and drives horribly. Has anyone had any experience with this combination of boat and motor? My boat is a 2000 year model. HewesYourDaddy
You didn't say if you are running the PTR3 or PTR4. I'm running a PTR4-20 and happy with it. It's been the only prop so far I can run that will hold in turns on my 1900T. It has lots of grip and gives me a great hole shot.
