FLDXT
I have a good friend who is coming down in April to Orlando with his 8 year old. I recommended ML for a half day fishing. Anybody have any good guide recommendations for that time of year in the ML? Any other suggestions to other places woukd be appreciated. Thanks in advance. EarlyTimes
I'm admittedly biased because he's a client and a friend, but Capt. Brian Clancy at Mosquito Lagoon Fish Camp ( www.mosquitolagoonfishcamp.com ) is a nice, low-key guy who catches at least as well as anybody out there. ofdphildo
The lagoon and Indian River are not in great shape at the moment. Another brown algae bloom affecting all three lagoons. Finding clean water has been tough at best. May want to consider a near shore trip out of the port. Cobia should be starting to show up. Capt. Jim Ross or Capt. Jamie Gl***ner are good. johnd
All good guide recommendations Yes, Lagoon system horrible ugly due to brown algae, but fish are still being caught. You just can't sight fish! Nearshore, true the Cobia should be showing up..but lots of boats out looking this week with very little success. King bite is hot one day, not the next. Flounder nearshore, if you can get thru all the darn Snapper.
