Nag Juice
Yes. It works ok. I like the Works, toilet cleaner, but get the wax ready afterwards.

Fish Food
I would recommend using this from Collinite to clean the fibergl*** before waxing. I also have used it to clean off the yellowing on the bottom of my previous boat. http://www.collinite.com/marine-wax/fibergl***-boat-cleaner
SCFD rtrd.
I never felt the need to clean my boat with acid, except to remove stains at the water-line. Are you advocating washing the whole boat with acid?
gamecocks2001
Sorry. I should have specified. I am just looking to clean water stain on the hull.
hurricanedavid
Hull cleaner with Oxalic Acid works wonders for removing tannic acid stains. Spray it on, wait for a couple minutes and rinse it off with the hose.

linesider 159
Gloves, a cloth, and some muratic acid take it off instantly. Just pour some on the towel and wipe. The water stains will be gone instantly. Then wash boat with dish soap and then wax
Lowcountry Joe
I've been using Lysol toilet bowl cleaner (blue top) for years . Works great on hull stains and it's eco friendly.
SCFD rtrd.
Like other said, there are lots of products that work. I use Rust-Aid from Home Depot and it removes the hull stains in seconds. One thing to remember, most acids will etch metal (like your trailer). So, use as little as necessary, keep it off your trailer, keep a garden hose handy to spray the trailer. You will have to polish that area after using acid or the stains will appear quicker and will be more difficult to remove.
