redzone1
Hey guys, I’m out of town right now and can’t measure the hole, but I need to order a new overflow stick for the front deck livewell in my 2400. Anyone know what size it is?
Hobo
"Overflow stick"??? Could you possibly be referring to the overflow stand-pipe used to control the water level in the release and/or bait wells??? These fixtures can easily be fabricated by using 1-1/4" white PVC pipe and cap. I like to keep several extras of different lengths in my boat for different situations requiring different depths.. I even made one standpipe that is adjustable for use in my release well... All ports covered except for the top...

Ken: Just curious, but where do you find the black rubber piece when you fabricate these and what is that piece called?
redzone1
The front in deck livewell drain is smaller than the ones in back of the boat. I made it back to measure. It’s 7/8 or 15/16” in diameter.
SCFD rtrd.
Redzone1, when you say it's 7/8 or 15/16, are you referring to the PVC pipe or the black rubber plug that's on the bottom of the PVC?
redzone1
7/8 to 15/16” is the diameter of the drain hole that the stand pipe sticks in.
SCFD rtrd.
Roger that. The PVC pipe is still going to be 1 1/4" like HOBO said. I Googled "push in live-well drain pipe" and can't find anything that fits a 7/8 or 15/16 hole.
redzone1
I think I found what I need from Boat Outfitters. They only offer 2 sizes. I remember years ago you could order miscellaneous parts like this from the MBG Gear website
smilemaker
Here is a picture of the front standpipe
redzone1
Just FYI if anyone needs a replacement for the front well, the standpipe pvc is 3/4” and the black rubber nipple piece that sticks into the drain hole is 7/8”….. not even close to the standpipe size that goes in the rear wells. here is a picture of the two different sizes. rckeat
Anybody know where to get the rubber pieces? That's the part that needs replacing on my boat.
redzone1
i don’t know where you get the rubber piece by itself, but if you go to BoatOutfitters, it’s the 12” option. the 18” option is for the rear wells.
