THE OUTLAW
We have been pokin our heads out and about , to see the changes , to the bars , up and down the coast . All I will say , is you solely rely on staring at your high dollar FMT to save you , you should wait for the update . Yup this winter gonna be interesting. 🇺🇸🏴☠️ I sell skeg insurance for $100. 😎 🇺🇸🏴☠️ Has anyone been in Rodgers or Lostmans yet ? 🇺🇸🏴☠️
Big Dave
I haven't noticed any changes. Some debris in the water, so keep your eyes open!
THE OUTLAW
We went to Turkey , New Turkey , Plover , Mormon , Duck Rock , and Pavallion , and it is all alot shallower than before . Sand has been all pushed into the pinch's . 🇺🇸🏴☠️
Mangroovin
Thanks for the info gents. Usually once things settle down, we will realize that Mother Nature has made some new improved spots. Ralph - "Skeg Insurance" LOL. Tender
You are ruining my excitement about getting down there since its finally cooling off. 😆 Probably going to be awhile before it cleans up too.
THE OUTLAW
It is super dirty out front . And the water is super high , in the back . And just heard of a large fish kill at a place . But , there are fish to be caught . 🇺🇸🏴☠️
Wanaflatsfish
I just got back from a day with our buddy in the HB..... Back high water....some down trees and logs....ran the Turner on the way out at high...no issues, but, very high, dirty water....we ran the Wilderness to House Hammock and all the bars around....tough day in the back in the morning, but, not a large amount of trees in the back...we headed out front via the Houston with a stop in Storter....a nice trout bite and one red.....again, brown dirty water...made our way out of the Chatham out to Turkey and Clam point....MINE FIELD...down trees everywhere.....'BUY RALPH'S INSURANCE ". Water dirty dirty dirty....and yes, all the bars have changed....made our way back to try and finish the day and found ourselves in in the middle of the fast moving front...high winds, temperatures in the 50's on the run home from Chevaliar and points south.....and yes, I didn't bring my full rain gear....cold cold cold. EC bait and tackle up and running....Alina's place looks great...Everglades Fish Co. still getting up and running....working outside....tough times ahead going forward. Outdoor resorts ramps and docks untouched.... A word of advice: YOUR NOT IN KANSAS ANYMORE DORTHY IT'S CHANGED A GOOD BIT OUT FRONT, LESS IN THE BACK....but, beware of floating logs and trees in the standard FMT routes....time to go back to old time navigation....look, access, go slow, try and not run aground I WOULD SUGGEST THE STANDARD SHALLOW WATER PRAYER..... "If you don't know, go slow, if it looks brown, go around " it will take probably 3-4 months to clean out the bights.....so, be ware... Overall tough bite.....but still managed 15-20 trout, 1 snook, 1 red, and a few cats..... #Tiredofcasting" dc
THE OUTLAW
Thank you Dino . I knew I was not dreaming. Sad to see all my favorite camping ⛺️ spots are probably uncampable . The bight , inside Pavallion is almost a puddle . I would not come off plane in there . We found the motherload of fish . You just have to work , and prey , to get there . 🇺🇸🏴☠️
SW Skif
Yesterday water temps 69-71.5. Water dirty in most places. Managed a few trout. Water warmer on the outside vs inside. Windy!

Tender
Made it down over the weekend managed a couple of mid 30's Snook and a few ~18" on the outside, zero Redfish or Trout. Came out of the Chatham on the negative tide, you guys weren't kidding about the minefield of trees! Stuff sticking out of the water everywhere on the negative tide that disappeared as soon as the tide came up a shade. Mostly dirty water but did find a few spots that were cleaner than others. THE OUTLAW
Made it to Rodgers yesterday, and most of those new markers are gone , so the low water in and out will be different. The coast got hit pretty good . The shore is atleast 20-25’ back . Way too much bait out front , the chunks and 3” NLBN were getting the job done . Next … the Myan Cichlid run ! Dont miss it ! 🇺🇸🏴☠️
