Hewes 18' Bonefisher 2000-2003?

I am in the market for an early 2000's 18' Hewes Bonefisher. Does anyone know the differences between the models that were built between 2000 - 2003? From what I can tell from NADA:

2000 - 850lb hull, 7' beam, kevlar hull

2001 - 825lb hull, 7' beam, kevlar hull

2002 - 875lb hull, 7'-4" beam, carbon/kevlar hull

2003 - 875lb hull, 7'-4" beam, carbon/kevlar hull

Any information would be greatly helpful. In particular: Recommended hp? Draft differences? Load ratings / 3 or 4 people? Were the 2000 and 2001 "Lappy Hulls"? It seems like the 2002 and 2003 versions evolved into the Maverick 18' Hpx's. Does this sound right? If anyone owns or has owned an 18' Bonefisher in any of these years your thoughts on owning one would be enormously helpful!

I think ours is an 02, and it's a great boat. The specs you listed sound correct, but I haven't seen a manual for the boat to confirm. I think the hp range you're looking for on that hull is 115-150. Ours has a low-hour Yamaha 115 4stroke, and it will push it around 44-45 with a full load under perfect water conditions. Ours is rated for 4 people, and you are correct that the later bonefishers became the Maverick HPX-V hull.

Its a very solid boat, but doesn't ride as dry or smooth as even the 92 bonefisher "lappy" we had.

Photo below is how it sits in the water with a full bait well and fishing gear- Keep in mind ours has a lot of heavy accessories on it- Powerpole, 48v Trolling motor+ oversize starting battery, tools, etc.

Thanks for the info. Interesting what you say about the ride vs. an older 16' lappy. From what I can tell, the 2000 and 2001 18' Bonefishers had the lappy hull. I wonder how the ride of the 2000 and 2001 18' Bonefishers compare with the 2002 and 2003 versions?
