Wanaflatsfish
HI EVERYONE... My brother does a lot of car detailing and he showed me his Ceramic waterless cleaner on my car last weekend and then applied a light coat of Ceramic compound. Amazing...the product is from Torque Products in Orlando. Can any tell me if they are using ceramic on the hulls and inside the gunnels. I heard DO NOT USE IT ON NON-Skid....OF COURSE.... I normally use 3M wax on the hull and gunnels. I use Woody Wax for the non-skid and really like how it seals.... Please provide your thoughts and actual experiences.... Big Dave
I had my Bronco ceramic coated, but don't think it's the best application for a boat. For me, a good coat of Collinite Fleet Wax 4X/year is the best bet. I use it on the hull and side console, and all the metal. For the non-skid, I use an Awlgrip product every few months, Awlcare, which is a protective polymer sealer, and then use Awlwash, which is formulated to clean Awlgrip surfaces. I use Orpine Wash/Wax to clean the hull.

THE OUTLAW
IMHO The more you slap meat , on the deck , the more I would spend on protection . The less it is used . Turtle Wax is fine . 🇺🇸🏴☠️
Moderator
Scott Wilson put a ceramic coat on his HPS years ago and it looks brand new still. Outside with a full cover.. MM
Headhunter
Did ceramic on the last two mavericks including the decks and cockpit. Our boat live on a lift so they are outside all the time. I my mind it’s worth the money based on looks and less maintenance but it is maintenance free. Brand and application makes all the difference.

Moderator
From Scott: It’s really good. Had it done 3 years ago. Starting to see areas that need to be done. The product is Feynlab. Had it done for $85 per foot. Took two full days
Headhunter
I did it myself with Top Coat Crystaleen and the Top Coat f-11 once a year afterwards. It's pretty easy as long as you follow the instructions and get the finish the way you want it before you start. I now have it on all of my cars as well. Great stuff for not a lot of money. ofdphildo
Too many variables with ceramics for me. I like Polymer sealants. Currently using Jescar Power Lock. Edited February 3, 2023 by Moderator Spell check inserted Spectra for the Jescar brand. MM
