StripersOnTheFly
Hi all, I have a 94 LT20 that I’m repowering. When I bought it, it had a 25” shaft Merc. Whoever installed it had added spacers beneath the poling platform’s legs to accommodate the motor, and the cowling still couldn’t be taken off without fully raising the engine. 🤪. My father has a 2000 LT20 and his engine has a 20” shaft. My question is, was this boat designed for a 20” shaft? I do not currently have, nor do I want, a jackplate. Thanks in advance for any advice! Mike
