gambler1
2007 2200 pathfinder, noticed yesterday running the boat on a good plane that it seemed a little stiffer to steer than I remember it being. Had the helm replaced last year and has worked flawless . Wheel turns motor effortless left to right at neutal or when not under load (planed out) . what could it be or is it just me? Fish Food
Just a simple thing to check, make sure Ram has some appropriate grease on it.
SCFD rtrd.
Pro torque causes the steering to be more stiff at higher speeds. The faster you go and the more you trim up, the more resistance you get. You might also need to grease the pivot tube.
