Geo E
I have a 1976 Cobia Sanlando 15’. It’s in great shape. The steering cable broke and my mechanic says it will be very difficult to find a replacement. Does anyone have any idea as to where I can find one? I love this little boat; I don’t want to give it up! Thank you for your help!
Moderator
No telling which brand of steering was installed back then. Probably not made anymore.. You will probably need to remove the steering wheel and helm under it, and replace the whole steering system. But before you do, Look under the console and see if there is a label on the steering box.. If you find the brand, you can research from there. Maybe put up some pictures and a member may recognize it.. Mod Marc
60hertz
If you convert to hydraulic you will be able to make the hoses the exact length required.
