Wanaflatsfish Posted April 3, 2016 Report Share Posted April 3, 2016 After several weekends of NADA....we finally got back in the game...and even in difficult fishing conditions... SW winds and stirred up water....but we found some feeeeshhh We took the skinny mini back up towards the Houston River Bars and found a good trout bite...and one red for the box....so, by 0900 we had feessh in the red bag of death. We fiddled around House Hammock bay with some more trout and then decided to make our way back up to Choko to find some protected waters behind the gulf islands.... More trout and then we found this nice red who will be joining us for dinner.... Long day....but, we found the feeesh..... 5 trout came home...15-20 stay to play another day....more snappers than you want to imagine...catfeesh that you love to hate....and no snook .....ugggh.
