I also have the Laporte rear shade. it does fit much tighter on the boat...I was just fiddling with it and decided to take a few photos for the forum members. LINK.... Moderator
Dino, rain will collect in that slack spot ahead of the console. I take a dock line and loop it to the top cross bar on the TTop, then take it to the bow cleat. The tight line will hold up the bow section and stop the bellies from rain.. The tie downs will pull down slack to protect the hull from fading.. Marc

Capt. Troy
Dino I would drill some holes in it so it doesn't collect rain. I know you want to do some drilling.😎

Wanaflatsfish
Update....I added two 10lb photography sand bags to the sides of the cover...pulls it tight....let's see how it fares the next few days rains. I also tightened the front line on the bow and pulled up tight on the center connection....didn't get a chance to run a line...next time.

Wanaflatsfish
Yeah, good idea...I couldn't find my bungees but, better solution...I had my photo bags in the garage and just put them on with a zip tie....bungees definitely better !! Dino, to help hold up the bow cover and stop pooling water, tie a dock line from the center of the TTop cross bar.. to the bow cleat. Cinch it tight. Then throw the cover over the rope when you cover her. You can even set an anchor ball on the forward deck to lift it a bit more before you cover.
