Welcome to the new forum format! We hope you enjoy the great new features of this software, including easy photo uploads, mobile-friendly format, and more.

One change out the gate however, is the Display Name. This software's Login Name and Display Name are the same. All posts now show your Login Name instead of your previous Display Name. You can easily change this: Click your name at the top right of the screen to reveal the drop down menu, select Account Settings, then on the left bar, click Display Name to change. Once you change your Display Name, this also becomes your Login Name, so this will also change how you log into the forum.

This has been changed.  We changed all the posts back to the Display Name. Your Login Name is now your Display Name.

Sorry for the confusion, but based on member feedback, that seemed to be the better solution.

Also, as some of you may have noticed, we have been experiencing some intermittent loading problems today due to some data inconsistencies. Hopefully that is behind us now and we can move forward.

Thanks for your patience as we tidy up some of these final details for you.

Thanks to MBC for continuing work on the useful and helpful forum!!  Any chance can get system to forward to last spot on thread read rather than having to restart and read a thread from the beginning and scroll to bottom, to view more recent replies each time? Like last forum function. Thanks.

Does this work?

Clicking the small blue dot to the left of the title will take you to the latest unread post. If you haven't read the thread, then it'll take you to the first post; otherwise, it'll take you to the post you left off on. Clicking on the title will always take you to the first post.

I guess post history older than a certain date is lost? I'm showing 83 posts but had over 1000 before the change.

Regrettably, the post count recalculated during migration and only counted the unarchived posts remaining. Sorry about that.

but what are the three bars to the right? Will not load on iphone mobile.

That menu bar launches a pop-up window to login and perform other tasks. Scroll to the right to locate it.

What happened to Bubbas weather site. I looked at it every morning and believe a lot of folks did.:(

Unfortunately, it was lost in the storm. That was indeed a valuable asset.
We are trying to sweet talk Bubba into reconstructing. :)

I will see what I can do.

Sweet talk gets me no where with him. I will just call him up and threaten to cut his anchor rope the next time we cross paths.:D

Thanks for all the hard work.

Guess I missed it! Why the change? Liked the old interface. Presented as friendly and was useable. Only problem was storage for DIY posts.
Guess I'll get used to this format.

To name a few:
Storage limitations are gone
Easily upload images (no more manual resizing or outside hosting)
Mobile-friendly (use on tablet and/or smart phone)
More sophisticated notifications & activity monitoring
New, modern look

I like it, thanks for upgrading. We all hate change, but man, uploading pics was a royal pain in the neck on the other site.

Wouldn't mind a "like" feature for posts.  Couple other fishing forums I'm on have 'em and it seems to build help the general "culture" of the forum.  Maybe just me.

wow, that was easy!

I'd also like a feature where if you ask for a new Maverick and say "pretty please," one will be delivered to your door free of charge.  Is that possible too? :)

On a serious note - great forum, and great boats.  Looking forward to the day you all bring the MA molds back into production. :)
