whichwaysup
Hey all - Wondering if anyone has any insight here - I have had my MK Ipilot for just over a year now - love it - but over the last few trips it has started making a lot of noise at certain speeds - 2.5 is about the worst, which is also my preferred speed to work a shoreline. Anyone know what might be causing this?
InshoreMarSpec
Maybe a broken magnet or hung up brush in lower unit

RipTide
Since it's out of warranty disassemble it and see what doesn't look right or is broken. Actually very easy to disassemble.
NCTribute
Could it be something as simple as a prop that is slightly damaged and vibrates at that speed, might want to try a different prop before messing with the motor.
triplec
Someone mentioned disassemble but if you have only had it a year it is still under warranty so I would say just run it by a service center.
whichwaysup
Probably just a nick in the prop, but I think I will have it looked at since it is still under warranty. Thanks all!

Thanks all! Mine was in the the service center in New Bern (70 East Pawn) a few weeks ago. He seems to know his stuff. Good luck. If I remember there are a couple others around G'ville.
