I always Ice for sure here in SoFlo. dc No problems with worms in the local trout….some of the ones we catch in Crystal River do have some worm occasionally. on the ice….i always have two bags, one open on cooler bottom before we put fish in ( ice cold bed ). Then the second bag , we leave in bag and just lay on top. Just lift it out and take pictures…then lay back on top. Once we’re re done we open bag and cover the fish from the top. With the yeti or rtic coolers, they keep ice so good that fish on bottom are almkst frozen when we get home. Quote
