TommyG
I have a 2004 2200V does anyone know what size in-line check valves those are in the hose? I want to order new ones, but don't want to disassemble more than once,

SCFD rtrd.
Does anyone know what's inside the valve? Is it a ball that seats against an O-ring or some type of flapper?
JEM
One way rubber flapper.
tribbsa
I just disassembled the valves and replaced the flapper which is much easier than replacing the entire valve.

Exactly!!! That's why I asked what was inside. Those flappers get brittle and sometimes they start to warp. Replacing the flapper is much easier and cheaper than replacing the whole valve. smilemaker
Where can you get just the flapper. Is there a part number for just the flapper from T-H Marine
SCFD rtrd.
I went to TH Marine web-site and didn't see the flappers. I wonder if they could be bought separately? My old bay boat had flappers in the drains, but they were attached to the thru-hull fitting on the outside of the boat. Very easy to change out, but they were Perko. Anytime I had a problem with them not sealing, I would look on the outside at the flapper and 9 out of 10 times it was a piece of mono line. Doesn't take much to cause them not to seal. TommyG
The in-line check vales are T-H Marine 1 1/2 check valves, I was able to replace one side and it was packed with nasty vegetation and the flapper was warped. I have not been able to get to the other one yet as the space is tight. I was considering doing to bigger T-H marine hatch, and this is even more reason why I will.
