ofdphildo
Looking to put a bimini top on my LT 20. I was trying to decide between the 6 ft. and 8 ft length. Is anybody using an 8 ft? Do you think the 8 ft. is too big? Thoughts. Thanks.
SCFD rtrd.
I'd measure from the rear of the leaning post to the front of the cooler in front of the console, then add about 6" to both ends. You want as much shade as you can get without the top interfering with stepping up on the rear or front decks. I just bought an 11 ft. long top for my boat. Additionally, you can have zippers installed in the top so you can still use the rod holders on the console. I'd also spend the extra money for the Accon quick connects. If you are going to run with the top up, don't forget the stability straps.
