Miss Jazzy
Recently bought another Pathfinder, an '02 that had the commonly known problem of water intrusion from the skuppers. No big deal just get some Rabuds and have no more worries like I've done on my previous Pathy's. Well first time in the water after installing them I was back standing in water right after launch! đ€ Was not happy and could help but think what could be wrong. Did I not install them correctly? Got back home and checked everything and it looked fine. I had some grass that had washed down in the Rabuds so I told my girlfriend to jet water through and I watch to see when it was clear. To my amusement the Rabud on the port side had no water coming out of at all but I heard water coming from somewhere. Looked under the boat and it was coming out of the live well drain hole. I said that's strange. Popped the hatch and sure enough the pluming hoses were mounted backwards. Looks like it was done that way from the factory cause the caulking around the fitting all looked the same as the others. Oh well looks like an easy fix and hopefully no more wet feet! SCFD rtrd.
So, the live-well had been draining through the floor drains and the floor drains have been draining through the live-well drain?????? Well, now that you figured it out, your floor should stay dry. How's things in Moultrie?
Miss Jazzy
Yes! Crazy. How the previous owner never new this is beyond me. There was nothing to stop the water from coming onto the deck, and it stayed full of water all the time as you can imagine.  It's HOT and DRY up here!! Miss Jazzy
I wish I could get my hands on the idiot that plumbed this boat!! What I thought would be an easy fix has turned into a massive headache. After taking the hoses off to switch them I realize the hoses are too short to reach the correct fittings. I'm having to add a short piece of hose to each one with a coupler in between. Doing something that was first done without the cap on is a pain in the arse now!
