Fish Food
I was wondering if anyone could suggest a way to clean up the water spots on my windshield without scratching it. Thanks!!!
jason p
I used Colonites boat cleaner to get spots off my console door (black acrylic) when I bought the boat.
Fish Food
If you mean Collinite No. 920 fiberglass boat cleaner, then I am familiar and I use that product often for fiberglass/gel coat. I have never considered it for acrylic since it has mild abrasives in it. I am glad it worked out for you.
SCFD rtrd.
Polish works for me, something like StraBrite or Rejex.
Bamaskeet
Recently, someone mentioned they bought some car wash soap made by Rain X that was great with water spots. I'm going to try it.
bernieNC
Try Pledge furniture polish.
hawg
Try a little vinegar to remove the spots. They are likely mineral deposits from the rinse water.
Candle
I have been cleaning the windshield on my 2004 RF with cheap car polish. Works like a charm and never scratches. Brian
