rkmurphy526
I'm just curious as I can't find much good information out there around this topic. How does the Pathfinder 2200V compare to the Pathfinder 2400V? Does the extra 2 feet make a big difference? Is there any substantial difference in the 2 hulls other than the extra length? Currently own a 2003 2200V and love it but we fish Tampa Bay and our family is growing. Just wandering if it's worth the upgrade...Thanks!
RICH12
Had a 2001 2200v which myself and family loved. Same thought process as you last year. Sold the 22 for a new 24. Huge difference in ride, storage, etc. I cant believe it. Performance is appx same with the 300. I came from a 200 2.6 hpdi. Much more space tho, meaning its just more comfortable with my family on board. Still fishes like a pf is known for too. It was expensive by my standards, but Im glad a made the change. No regrets at all. I suggest going to a dealer, if possible, and do a test ride. It will help you decide if its worth it to you. My .02. fishmanjj
I guess that depends on how big your family grows. I own both a 2400V and a 2200XL and the only difference that you will notice is the distance between the front of the center console and very back of the two fwd hatches and the fwd deck. It seems the extra foot or so, is in that fwd area. You will notice it when you are walking around the center console in the front of boat. Probably if I didn't have the two together to compare, I would have never noticed that. As far as the hulls, both handle about the same. I have a F250 on 2400V and F150 on 2200XL, so obviously the 2400V is faster...but both are great boats. You may want to look at the 2600 series if more space is needed.
