Benzo
Never caught a flounder on fly but I would suspect something like a weighted kwan or clouser would work.
Junior Fly
I'm leaning towards a heavy Clouser for starter. I've read all about where they should be, I'm gonna start off fishing the ICW edges and every flood creek I can find down here On the Lower Laguna Madre. Newman
if iam targetting flounder ive have found a larger dahlberg diver type fly in gaudy colors (hot pink/chart/white) fished on a sinking line so fly is suspended a foot or 2 off bottom works way better than a fly on bottom... we have tons of them up here, and the bigger the fly, the bigger the flounder you are consistently gonna catch
Junior Fly
Thanks, I got the same advise from a friend concerning Gaudy colors. I'm tying some pink ones now....
