As you probably know, a very small number of labs statistically will actually point and hold on quail, of course most all of them will retrieve. I'll pass this to couple of guys that are looking for hunting labs especially if there is any pointing in their genes. My female "Charley" is 60 lbs. and also points very well, she is 4 now and really loves the quail hunting better than dove or duck.
