fshnmgcn76
squid, They probably have upwards of 50+, still wrapped from the factory. They charge by the switch, I think it was $78.00 for everything, switchpanel wiring harness and fuse box which would have been more than double that if I made everything myself. Alsolooks alot cleaner than anything I would have come up with. They will break it up and sell you only what you want. link : www.marineconnectionliquidators.com give them a call, they are very helpful and will ship. If it gets too confusing for them (they have hundreds of different panels) let me know what you want, and I can pick it up for you and ship to you. Screw & Glue = wetting out transom skin, 2-3 sheets of plywood & fibergl***, then screwing it all together to ensure a solid bond. It helps make it all "one piece". Once it cures, you un screw everything then fair over the holes. You can use clamps to avoid the holes, but you won't get everything as tight with clamps. fshnmgcn76
Not much new in the way of pics,I have been spending alot of quality time with the grinder and the Tyvek suit, and who wants to see pics of that. I did get the face of the console gl***ed in, and have been sanding and grinding away to get it ready for paint. Here are a few pics: Laying in some 1 1/2oz mat on backside [image]http://www.forumpictureprocessor.com/pictureprocessor/images/P9010002.jpg[/image] Inside complete [image]http://www.forumpictureprocessor.com/pictureprocessor/images/P9020003_1.jpg[/image] Here is the first layer of 1 1/2oz mat on the outside [image]http://www.forumpictureprocessor.com/pictureprocessor/images/P9060011_1.jpg[/image] Progress has been slow, but it's progress none the less. fshnmgcn76
Thanks for the kind remarks everybody. as for an update, not much to show in the way of pics, I have been grinding and grinding with no end in sight on all the rot around the stern. Still a few weeks away from replacing transom and beefing up the stringers. I did get the console faired over and will post some pics once it's primed and painted. I know it's a year away, but my goal is to have her COMPLETE by the OT next year.
fshnmgcn76
Haven't been able to do a whole lot of work lately due to getting ready for our new addition on the way (Baby Boy due Jan. 15th). I have some updated pics of the console almost completed, and getting ready to finally get started on the transom. I will get some pics up when I get a chance. GA Outdoors
If you have minor wood rot, try injecting west system epoxy. Also, lots of good foam core materials out there for decks, stringers, and transon. These products are really strong and save alot of weight. No future rot.
