Paid Up Posted August 22, 2016 Report Share Posted August 22, 2016 I have a Garmin GPS that has been great and it is a combo unit - built in antenna/GPS/Depth finder. Mine is about 8 years old. I have a buddy who just boat a new deck boat for the family and occasional coastal fishing, I have no clue what these days is a good combo unit for him, simple GPS/Depth finder. Price depends on what size unit will fit. For his occasional coastal fishing, he may want to make sure he chooses one with coastal maps built in.
