Headhunter
So we just came back from two weeks away last night and I went out to check the boats when we got home. It seems that two pairs of morning doves have taken up residence inside of the covered boat houses. Needless to say there is c**p all over the decks and consoles. They were all there this morning signing and sh*tting. The admiral thought they were cute until she went outside to look at her boat. Now, not so much. Any suggestions on how to get ride of them? And no, I am not going to shoot them!

jason p
My Dad stapled window screen to the underside of the rafters on his boathouse. He tried everything else and it's the only thing that kept them from taking up shelter.

Bamaskeet
I suggest a 12 year old with a BB gun. By the way, dove breast wrapped in bacon cooked over a grill, ain't bad!

localangler
The above recipe plus rub some yellow mustard on the breast before cooking. Otherwise the screen idea is probably your best bet, but I've seen public parks put up strips that look like nails to keep birds off. Maybe the tack strip for carpet would work.
