Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring Devices

Anyone using the aftermarket tire pressure monitoring system for their trailers? I was thinking it would be nice to detect a tire loosing pressure while trailering down the road. If you know in advance that a tire is loosing pressure, then you could;   find a good place to pull over instead of changing the tire on the side of the roadway. Could also save damage to your fenders, boat, tag and lights.

I only found one that is advertised as submersible. It's from Bass Pro ($250). Apparently some devices have small batteries in the valve stem part. Don't see how that would work with salt water. Still researching.

SCFD, I don't know if this is the same system, but it was the one that I was looking at in the past.  I had the same concerns.  I agree, it would be good to have.  I have gotten used to my car having a system that tells you the pressure and alerts you when it is time to add air.  It would be nice on the trailer to alert before a problem happens.  Good luck and keep us updated if you pull the trigger on a system like this.  https://www.amazon.com/EEZTire-Tire-Pressure-Monitoring-System/dp/B009BFMUHQ

I admit I am used to my truck and jeep having it, but the last thing I'd want on my trailer is something else electronic to go wrong espcially something that has to dunk in the water. I had more problems with "submersible" tailed lights than most others....

I feel my bearings and give the tires the old kick test before every long trip and every stop along the way.
