What other suface preps did you do prior to painting, if any? Thanks! Clean the surface with wax remover solvent and scuff with a fine paper like 400 grit or use a course scotch brite pad. No primer is needed because paint bonds perfectly fine to any polyester surface. I didn't use primer on this thing and it held up for many years.
