MWoods
Yes.. Entry fee is cheap. Look for the announcement on the 'Tournaments' thread later in the summer. There are a couple of other places to tie up.. La Siesta resort has a marina across the street from Breezy Palms, bayside. Good ramp too.
Flireman
Cost is minimal and the fun is maximum! It is a great time and super laid back.
Good Tidings
Would it be advisable to go ahead & "reserve" a slip @ La Fiesta just to be on the safe side in case a slip @ Breezy doesn't become available?
Moderator
You can if you wish. They have an Oceanside Marina and a bigger one on the Bay side. La Siesta, BTW. Are you staying at La Siesta ?

goodadvice
Well I just booked the last room at Breezy. My 2013 18 HPX is scheduled to be done towards the end of August, just in time to break her in before heading down and meeting everyone. For the guys leaving their boats elsewhere, has anyone ever had a problem with vandalism? Makes me a little nervous leaving a brand new skiff on a different property... MWoods
It was $35 a head if I recall. You get a goodie bag full of sponsors stuff (Sebile lure, Costa Croakie, jigs, TriggerX, etc) a shirt each and supper on Sat night. You will really enjoy the event. Serious fishin, or bring the family. The raffle has been unbelievable.. Dozen plus pairs of the latest Costa eyewear, a tricked out 8' Powerpole, Yamaha prop.. and a lot more. The Powerpole techs are there for any problems, but they wind up sitting around with the Yamaha rep: None of their stuff breaks. If you live close, just clean up and drive to Breezy for supper and beers with the gang.. MW

goodadvice
Just a heads up, Kon Tiki does not allow slip rentals if you are not staying on the property. Bud and Marys has slips and they are $40 per night if you are not on property/$20 if you are staying on property. I haven't been able to get through to La Siesta. goodadvice
La Siesta wants $50/day to leave the boat on a trailer and $68/day to leave it in the water!!! Any one got any other ideas??
