New poling platform, new raised steering console, all new gauges, controls, and backlit switch panel from Viking panels and new teak floor. My 1st boat as a kid was a Stauter and I still own one today. I have 73 model 14 skiff I am refinishing now with a restored 1970 20 mercury. New poling platform New Lenco Tabs and indicator switch Viking LED switch Panel New Gauges Bob's Action Jack Plate HDS 9 Touch NMEA network, fuel flow, engine monitor,water pressure, memory module. Pro Trim switches for jack plate and trim Waiting on canvas man to make backrest and seat for new platform. Now it's time to clean her up and go fishing! Stauter Posted March 4, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 4, 2014 Raised steering was one of the best things we have done to the boat. 90% of our fishing is site fishing for reds. The raised steering gives us much better visibility when running the marsh and moving the console back improved the ride. Sissy bar on new platform helped extend the time we stay up poling and makes it much easier and safer to fish from it. Loving the HO. Holeshot is unreal!
